Dubai Quick Guides

The most common way to get to Dubai is by air

Dubai Airport acts as the transit hub for the region as well as being a major destination.

The airport itself is quite large, reasonably well organised and very clean, its also famous for its huge range of duty free shopping and raffle tickets where top of the range German cars feature amongst the prizes.

The Dubai airline Emirates has quickly become established as a major world airline, providing a very good level of service at very reasonable prices.

Emirates airline offers direct and in-direct flights to Dubai from most major cities including London, Bangkok, Manchester, Larnaca to name a few.

Another option is to fly to Abu Dhabi and take a taxi for the one or two hour ride into Dubai, Abu Dhabi airport is much smaller than Dubai and is serviced by Etihad, Etihad prices tend to be cheaper than Emirates but when adding in the cost of transport from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, the savings may not amount to much if any.
